Hi! My name is Ryan Jackson. I am a Financial Professional with Cooper Financial Group, LLC. I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. I played baseball growing up and into college where I transitioned into a lacrosse player. Through my years of sports, I realized the value of teamwork. I spent the first 13 years of my career as a wine and liquor sales representative serving all types of customers. I also worked in the restaurant industry as a server for many years. I am an avid outdoorsman, love spending my time hunting, and traveling with my wife. I am always looking forward to the next adventure. At a very young age, I was taught the importance of money/finance management by my grandfather who was in the banking industry. He always told me, “You must pay yourself first because no one else is going to save for you.”
I never realized how influential that would be until I met my mentors Brad Cooper and Chris Cox. They have taken me under their wing and taught me the business model of Holistic Financial Management. In my opinion there is no better way to manage a client portfolio. I strongly believe in educating clients and helping each client understand investment choices to best suit their current and future financial goals. My goal is that through a strategic holistic financial plan all clients can understand and reach all their personalized retirement/investment goals.
Chris Cox is the Managing Director at our Cooper Financial Group, LLC Oro Valley and Green Valley locations. Chris has worked diligently to serve his clients in the various areas of retirement income planning, risk management strategies, tax efficiency, and legacy planning or wealth transfer solutions.
Throughout his 30 years in the industry, Chris has learned the value of building lifelong relationships with people who want to be treated as individuals, rather than just numbers. He recognizes that everyone has a story, and every story matters. Whether it be providing peace of mind through financial means, or simply being a trusted resource to improve other areas of life, Chris will always honor the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

My name is Jose Rodriguez, and I’m a Financial Advisor with Cooper Financial Investments, LLC. My career in financial services began in 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio, where I discovered a passion for educating clients and helping them work toward their personal financial goals.
After several years in the industry, I realized that the best way to serve my clients is by building genuine, lasting relationships. Every client has a unique story, and their path toward achieving their financial goals should be just as personal. At Cooper Financial, I’m able to take the time to listen, learn about what matters most to each client, and help create a strategy tailored to their needs.
Our goal is to build lifelong relationships while providing thoughtful, comprehensive financial planning. Serving others and helping them work toward the future they envision is at the heart of what I do.
I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Economics and a minor in Data Analytics. I’m endlessly curious and always enjoy learning something new. Outside of the office, you can usually find me exploring a new hobby, working out, or cooking something interesting for my girlfriend. I’m also a proud pet dad to my dog, Stella, and my ball python, Echo.
I’ll never forget the day I learned about money. I was a Police Officer, and a friend introduced me to what I now call: “Commonsense Money Principles.” You’d think I’d have been excited learning about how to manage money, but I wasn’t – I was angry.
I had all these questions flying around in my mind like:
“Why didn’t I learn this in school?”
“Shouldn’t our education system care about teaching financial principles?”
I came from a modest background, where people worked hard, and you married your high school sweetheart. I couldn’t stop thinking, “Someone needs to teach the average American how simple financial planning can be.” Turns out, God was calling ME to be that “someone.” So, I shifted careers and vowed to educate people on how simple financial planning can change their life.
For the first part of my career, the company I worked for was more focused on managing money than on education, so I kept feeling like I was not living up to part of my vow. That changed in 2006, when my brother Bruce died suddenly of a heart attack at age… 49. He was newly married and had diligently saved all his life so he could retire at 60 to “enjoy his life.” In my grief I thought, “Bruce sacrificed to reach his retirement goals; he planned and planned and planned— but he never actually lived his life.” I wondered, “What was the use of all that planning if he never enjoyed the fruits of his labor?” This realization weighed heavy on me. I immediately thought, “I want to teach people how to plan for the future while also living for today.” But to do that, I need to become a different kind of advisor. So, I started a full-service financial planning firm, centered on education. Soon after, I saw that no matter how much money people have, they are torn the way my brother was, between planning and living. But with the right guide and a bit of education it doesn’t have to be that way. That’s why for the past 16 years… I’ve created financial plans that not only provide my clients with guaranteed income for life…
But also, ample education… So, my clients will never again be so terrified of spending money that they never actually live their life. Nothing fulfills me more than seeing the relief and excitement on my clients’ face when they realize, “Wow, we really can have both.”
This is why I do what I do. And if we decide to work together, I’d love to show you how you can have both too.
